10 story process building addition for the production of graphite conductor rods used in the production of steel. These rods form the arc in the steel kettle that melts the scrap steel into a molten form. The building is located in a high seismic area and Dave Steel Company assisted the engineer in implementing buckling-restrained braces (BRB) in the structure, reducing material weight and costs.
